The O1 Visa is a great option for individuals with extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business and athletics. But before you can apply for such a visa, there are certain requirements you must meet. One of these is the minimum salary requirement.

So what exactly is the minimum salary requirement for an O1 Visa? Well it varies depending on your situation. Generally speaking, though, you must prove that you will be paid at least the prevailing wage or actual wage for the position offered to you in the US. This means that your employer must pay you a wage that meets or exceeds what other people in similar positions and industries are being paid in that geographic area.

In addition to this basic requirement, if your job requires highly specialized knowledge or experience then your employer may need to prove they have offered you a higher than average salary package in order to ensure they attract qualified applicants from around the world. That said, it's important to note that even if an employer offers a much higher than average salary package it won't necessarily guarantee approval of an O1 Visa application.

Finally, it should be noted that while there isn't an exact figure given by US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) as far as what constitutes a 'prevailing' or 'actual' wage when applying for an O1 Visa – they do provide guidance on calculating such wages using accepted industry standards. It's also worth noting that USCIS reserves the right to assess all relevant factors including but not limited to: qualifications; experience; type of employment; duration of employment; size of business; national origin and circumstances under which services will be performed when determining whether the proposed wage meets minimum requirements or not.

In conclusion, although there isn't one set figure given by USCIS when it comes to defining the Minimum Salary Requirement for an O1 Visa – employers must prove they are offering either prevailing or actual wages according to accepted industry standards as well as taking into account all relevant factors involved with the job offer itself.
